Wrong Side of the Tracks

Out with Jet this afternoon on a walk from the house towards the flood works and alongside the railway. No trains until April so this pheasant was safe as it scrambled across the line. 

Jet has a tide mark of mud round his middle so judicious throwing of sticks into the beck was required. It never ceases to amaze me how he leaps in whatever the weather. It was then a case of finding the cleanest route back home.
