Team of tree-huggers needed

The Rydale sweet chestnut, thought to 400-500 years old.  Diameter at 1.5m was measured at 10.78m in 2005.

Another day of low cloud and mist but we had a couple of hours of sunshine as the cloud broke up after lunch.
