Not Portobello but Warsaw (Day 143)
A quarter of Warsaw is parkland or green space. This park is less than a mile from the downtown high rise business centre of the Polish capital. It is only two miles from the medieval Old City that was completely rebuilt, from 1945, following its total obliteration by the Nazis.
The maximum temperature here today has been -10 and it has not stopped snowing. Despite the chill and the snow everything carries on as normal. I think this is a lesson that many parts of the UK could well learn and especially those in charge at Heathrow.
