Gus the Golf

After much hard saving / two years of seriously thinking about it I have finally decided to retire my brilliant diesel Golf Gerty.

Had her for 14 years and she still goes like stink, but the intermittent turbo cut out is getting worse and 5th whines.

Welcome to Gustav the Golf who I collect on Thursday. Gone for petrol engine this time as there is a threat of pollution zone where I live. It has the latest 1.5 evo engine so it’s VWs current state of the art.

Big change inside.. the standard of finish is on another level compared to Gerty.

Feels a bit scary spending the cash but it’s 2 years old which covers the biggest depreciation hit.
