Lee From Govanhill
Went out to a Saturday "rastro" or "fleamarket" as it would be called in the UK in search of some vinyl LP's. Passed by this guy who was offering a haircut for 5 euros. Always one for bargain and clutching my newly purchased 12" mint vinyl version of Bowie's Young Americans LP and a rare Walker Brothers LP (6 euros the lot) I entered his "barbershop" which consisted of a 5ft X 5ft wooden packing crate where he has set up a chair, a mirror, electricity, all his barbering tools, pictures of Elvis, Bob Marley, Cassius Clay and some of his own paintings which mainly consisted of ladies bottoms. I immediately felt at home. Turns out his name is Lee and he originates form Govanhill in Glasgow. It's a small world.
