Sad

I think this was the first bit of news I saw this morning.

I did not know her, but knew of her. Somehow it put my occasional moans about getting older right into context.

Fortunately the weather forecast let me walk to and from work today, and I think that is the first time this year. 31 minutes to get there (downhill) and 35 minutes back. 

It is not an enjoyable walk because of the traffic, but at least the negatives for my lungs are balanced by the positives for my legs and heart. What would be the positives about driving to work?

Exactly. 

By this time next week it may be light enough at 5pm to cycle. 

The Blip is just my path home on the edge of the town centre.
