Ripples in the sand

This is a bit more abstract than I usually take but these ripples caught my eye this morning.

I was down on the beach beside the football pitch while waiting for my son doing his usual Saturday morning thing. The sun was just rising and casting shadows across the beach. I took a few of the sunrise but wasn't as happy with those as with these ripples.
