coiseachd

Another fine day and not for the first time I am grateful that I am able to enjoy it by going out for a wall. Today's excurision took me to Clunie Footbridge over Loch Faskally with the trees perfectedly reflected in the water.

A quite afternoon/evening beckons - T has choir leaving me home alone to spend time with my family tree. I am currently exploring the lives of my paternal grandfathers aunts who seemed quite adventurous. One ended up in Lancaster, another in London and two in South Africa (where they had a number of second cousins whom they were probably not aware of).

* Bidh mi se a' coiseachd làithean ( some days I walk) (with thanks to Learn Gaelic for expanding my vocabulary)
