My Tiny Lawn Mower

After my Blip yesterday, I was about to go to bed when I remembered that I still have the wee lawn mower from the Floral Garden set that I mentioned I'd had as a child.

I used to play for hours making little gardens, changing the design, 'planting' flowers, making a pond or little raised beds with walls around.

My mum had green fingers and I obviously inherited mine from her. She most likely bought me the set because it appealed to her too.

Every week when I got my pocket money I would go to the toy shop and buy more bits and pieces for my garden - rose bushes, tiny seed trays, the lawn mower and a lawn roller, more bits of lawn and garden tools.

Oh how I wish life could be as simple now!
