Water taxi

We made the three hour transfer to the backwaters where we are staying in a small homestay on the side of the canal. We were dropped off by the driver and then ferried over the lake in a small canoe and along the canal to our jetty. It is very interesting seeing life going on around us along the banks of the canal, people washing their clothes and generally getting on with their daily lives. My comments may be sparse for the next few days as the Internet is restricted here.
