Walking
The side roads are still covered in snow so I walked into to town for the weekly meet up with Roger and Lynne. Most of the footpaths were not much better but the main roads were clear and quite busy. The town it's self had attracted many folk presumably to carry a weekly shop and or meeting up with freinds for a coffee.
One the way back the local church looked really isolated. Very few footsteps in the snow. This is the chuch that hold the remains of John Harman who rose to fame in Henry 8th time as Bishop Vesey. He became a benefactor to the town. Sponsoring many good deeds including founding a school for underprivileged boys. The orginal school has long gone. There now stands a Grammar School boasting about 800 boys and girls.
