MX-5 Cake

My Mum would have been proud of that icing, she was a wonderful cake decorator. She'd make the fruit cake for peoples weddings and other occassions and could do that fiddly filigree decorating that looks so lovely on iced cakes.

I took some from the inside of the car as well, after brushing the snow off the top so it didn't all go in the car when I opened the door! They were ok but not as dramatic as I'd hoped.

Dog-wise today, even Jonty baulked at going out for a walk this morning. I think he remembered yesterday when he was having such a great time but in the end just needed to be picked up because he was shivering. I cuddled him for a while yesterday but he'd obviously had enough after about half an hour.
