A trip on Pelorus Sound

M and l caught a water taxi for a visit out on beautiful Pelorus Sound. We whizzed along with another couple out towards Cook Strait which separates the north and south island of NZ stopping off at a green lip mussel farm where we picked some from the lines for our lunch. We were dropped off on one side of a promontory which was crossed arriving on this little beach to freshly cooked mussels - heaven does not get much better than this - mussels sweet, juicy and cant be much fresher.
