Finally got to the city

After two weeks of bitter cold, today dawned with a temperature of -3C. Nearly like spring time!

So we got out of here and headed to the city. I had a Doctors appointment for some test results, and then we went to the mall.

I needed shoes and she apparently needed a set of four individual cooking stones. (Really Lauralea??) At least they were on sale for $7.00 for the set. I can live with that.

I found some good shoes and we stopped for lunch so I consider the day a success.

Now to pack. Tomorrow Chicago.
