On my morning run past windy flat towers, there's a small square of pines to block the worst of the gales.

I started thinking, nice green plants, then remembered pines don’t do great things for soil, and maybe we shouldn’t plant trees if we don’t know what the best kind are to plant, and how do we really ever know how to do the best thing by our planet and...

then I stopped myself with the mantra

“Don’t be so overwhelmed that you do nothing.”
