Lucky escape

A heavy frost made gardening impossible. And too cold. But I could turn the compost bin. A good job for a cold, sunny day. It's lucky that I was alert as this overwintering toad was tucked in, nice and warm. Toads aren't quick movers, so I had time to get my camera, changes lenses and get back to make him the Blip for today. He's now back in the compost bin, none the worse for his adventure.
