Paddling around
Less pressure today, as I am not the On-call DAMHS this week, and a senior trainee has started working with me in the intensive care part of the unit. Came home and went down to Western Springs Lake.
A week or so ago, I was asked by someone if I had got a photo of the Weweia (NZ Dabchicks). As I hadn't seen them since their chicks had become almost independent, and had not seen them before seeing them with their chicks, the question left me at a loss.
Today I saw two; one on a floating platform just out from the edge of the lake, and the other (the one in my blip) paddling around I'm not sure if these are the juveniles, or the parents.
