View from a bedroom..

This is the view from my bedroom window. Its a cold, damp, dreich day in Kirkcaldy, with a hint of frost on the grass, reminding me its Winter.

Despite the time of year and general dreichness today, the grass seems in pretty good nick. The barren trees are patiently waiting for spring. Aren't we all?

The secluded walled garden at the top of the steps on the left, belongs to the artist Jack Vettriano. For some reason that defies all understanding, I think he prefers to "winter" at his home in the South of France.

I don't think I'll be venturing far today. Not least because I am carless this weekend,... so it'll be another close-by shot tomorrow I think.
