Beach Day

Just a drive by - the day after a snow storm.  Jon has recently started betting on football games, which just became legal in the state.  All the bets are placed online and there is a cash account, much like a bank account. We're talking $20 bets, nothing crazy.   He's been predicting pretty well and takes out his winnings each weekend. So today he kindly invited me to brunch over at the coast on the NFL in some ways.  A delightful walk around Portsmouth and a jazz brunch at Rudi's.  I guess sitting through all those games after the Patriots were knocked out may have been worth it.  For tonight's game, he won the first one thanks to the offense of Kansas City.  Now waiting on the San Francisco and the Packers.
