Ouch!

We visited Miramar Lake today completing the 5 mile circuit along with hundreds of others in this popular location east of San Diego.

Landon did well on his scooter, scooting perhaps 3 miles and pushing, carrying or lifting it over cracks in the road too.

He fell off, crashed, generally got in the wars on several occasions but was unfazed, a little whimper or two, a brief rub of a grazed knee, as here, a dusting down and he was off again. He spent some time in his buggy but no sooner was he in he was bailing out and wanting his scooter again.

I took Babe out for a walk first thing, walking again through the deserted campus of the California State University at San Marcos. It’s an enormous and impressive modern campus. Chris said that students are back tomorrow (although that is Martin Luther King Day). The extra is taken from the top of one of the University’s multi story car parks showing North City were Chris lives.

Landon slept 11 hours after the full on day yesterday. We’re hoping for the same tonight.
