Earmarked for demolition

The last block of flats awaiting demolition, the other two have already come down. The reflections in the canal were wonderful this afternoon as we walked to Dowley Gap where they are replacing a set of lock gates and we're having an open day today. We spent some time chatting to one of the carpenters involved in the project who pointed out that one side of the canal at that point is higher than the other by about 5 inches and the gates have had to be made to compensate for this.
We also spotted a kingfisher always a treat.
