Grizedale Forest

Goodness the terrain for the O club championships was very rough underfoot. I took this picture as I waited in the sun for my start time.  The actual course was forest with marshy mossy open areas and lots of brashings (branches on the ground) not very scenic at all . Not somewhere I would have chosen for a walk,  very few paths and very tough going. Came home to collapse on the sofa.
