Samson and Goliath!

These ship building cranes dominate the East Belfast skyline and are known as Samson and Goliath. Sadly, we don't build ships in Belfast anymore. Harland and Wolff  provided employment for thousands of men in days gone by. The linen industry is also gone. However, Belfast is thriving  again on different levels! .. I forgot my phone when I was out and about yesterday.We visited a very excited great nephew Lewis who turned 6 years old! I phoned my sister in Devon, who turned 72! ... Great to see the days lengthening.
