Iced buds

There was a thick frost overnight and the buds that are already coming on the willow , which grows thickly along the edge of our back garden, were covered in ice this morning. 

I don't know if that will affect their growth come the spring but it is a very different picture from the one I blipped exactly a year ago of the same plant.
