Wintry

Wintry, but no snow yet. The wind has picked up and it feels raw out there, it cuts through to your bones, even with lots of layers on!

A couple of us spent the morning in the craft shop, washing down shelves, windowsills and shutters ready for repainting. We are always closed for the month of January and it gives us the chance to do bits and pieces of maintenance and repair. This year we've made modifications to the kitchen area. It is still very basic, but we now have vinyl on the floor and a proper work surface! Still lots to do before we open on 1st February!
