Memories

Following on from yesterday's Blip of the BOAC poster at the hotel today MrsS dug out her BOAC Junior Jet Club Log Book. 

Her first flight is listed 2nd in the book (later filled in by her dad) when she was just days old. For 10 years she jetted between Nigeria and the UK, often stopping somewhere in Europe along the way. 

So just days before her 10th birthday she had clocked up 62,722 miles. It was another 10 years before I even stepped foot onto a plane. It is interesting to note the history of some of the planes she flew on. Not all had a successful or uneventful flying service...
