Mouse in the Tussocks

Yes, you read it right. The Mouse is a Cat.....a cat named "Mouse". He belongs to our son Duncan and his partner, Mei. They adopted him as a kitten from the SPCA in Nelson. We were somewhat bemused by the choice of his name and we were concerned that he might suffer an identity crisis. But no, despite the idiotic name, he has grown into a sylph-like beautiful silver tabby with a brick red nose and lovely orange eyes. Mouse is also a formidible hunter with rats being his specialty. Mouse the Ratter. Here he is sitting in the tussocks Duncan has planted in their garden...not a proper mouse in sight.... I called in to visit them on the way here to Kaiteriteri. I checked up on all three cats and photographed them all, Minty, Chase and Mouse. Duncan and Mei have another cat who visits frequently...a ginger fellow they have named ....wait for it...Cheese.
Well, here I am in Kaiteriteri...My personal challenge will be to continue to publish an image every day. It seems a bit daunting at the moment. We shall see......;)
