A day

Elbows, NoaNoa and I went to check all was ok at their grave and to lay the flowers on top. It helped that the sky was a clear blue. And my brothers and sisters wanted photos.

The ground was so water-logged and the clumps of London clay were huge but the surrounding lush green grass reminded me of what we can expect in time to come.

Later in the afternoon I took a flying fall on my run. It was a trip on broken pavements and an awful crash into a wall. I had to limp back home after a lovely couple stopped to check on me.

And in the evening, we went out for a curry with a university friend of Elbows. He’s a wonderful Christian man. The kids jest that he’s a spy because he speaks so many languages and travels a lot in far off places.

Ended the day feeling very full and very bruised.
