Back garden

I like it when the sun hits the canna lilies in the late afternoon, it makes the back garden glow. I have been watering this little patch of grass with grey water and after the rain it took off as you would expect. It had a haircut yesterday. I was on the exercise Bike when Bob got out the mower. I was listening to music and it took less time to mow the grass than it took Elton John to sing Tiny Dancer. Talking of Elton John....well he is coming to Bathurst on his Farewell tour. The town is buzzing. The stadium where he is performing is at the end of our street so all roads will be shut in preparation for the masses of people. They are putting up structures and have dozens of people working on the site. Bunnings has a yellow brick road leading into the shop and the staff are running around in big glasses and fancy clothes. Only 4 days to go...

This morning I cleaned the pantry and laundry cupboards. Amazing what you find...Bob has been putting up a gate and reorganising his weather station so we have been nicely occupied for the day. Had a quick visit from Nina and kids.
