Dixie in the Snow

We slept late. The snow makes the world so quiet. This is the first snowfall of the year for us. I felt a little bit like an excited child when I opened the curtains to discover snow. Dixie and I ran out the front door. I didn't even bother to take my coat. I shot this with my android phone. It was still snowing. I think snow was falling into her eyes. Over the years, she has gained a keen understanding of what a camera is and never hesitates to stop and wait until I have taken my shot.
