Fallen Leaf

The neighbor's palm tree shed a leaf today.  The entire thing on the ground is one leaf.  
It made quite a sound when it landed and it was the first time in my life I actually heard a leaf land.  
Palm trees are actually very ancient plants.  Sort of the dinosaurs of their kingdom.
