St Mary the Virgin
Over on Instagram last weekend, someone I follow posted some photos of a church in Bishopsbourne, outside Canterbury. I went along to take a look myself today - and it was well worth the trip.
It's a beautiful place in a tiny village, and is a real gem. This is the alter which is surrounded by the most beautiful tiles, which apparently may have been designed by William Morris.
There is also a window by Burne-Jones, as well as others dating from medieval times. There are memorials dating back to the 15 and 1600s - it's a really fascinating place!
This evening it was the Royal Marines panto - Hairy Putter and the Pussy of Doom. Great fun!
