Goalmouth Scramble

This afternoon's game between Yeovil and Hartlepool was another controversial one: we haven't managed to beat Hartlepool for some time; in the away game earlier this season we equalised in added time, only for them to go straight up the other end and score a winner, then they beat us 4-1 in the FA Cup.

This blip shows their goalkeeper about to drop the ball, causing a goalmouth scramble in the course of which our Charlie Lee (on the right in green and white) poked the ball in to put us 2-1 up. In the second half our top scorer Rhys Murphy, was sent off in an off the ball incident which only the ref seemed to see; we're still not sure what he actually did.

After that we did well to only concede one goal and earn a hard fought draw.

Earlier, Tess, Chris & I had enjoyed a very foggy and frosty park run.
