Freezing

Woke up to a freezing cold house with heating still and the outside temperature at 2 degrees. Luckily I set up a blow heater in the sitting room to come on with a timer at 7am so by the time I got up 7.30 it was toasty warm down there.

I managed to persuade Mr W to join me on a lovely sunny walkies but it was still frozen in the shadey parts.

I then had to rush back for work. While I was gone, the engineer came and finally fixed the boiler - for now!!! I can't tell you much I'm looking forward to a proper, hot shower after spending 3 days boiling pans of water for a wash. Washing your hair in the sink with frozen shoulders isn't easy!!!! It really does make you appreciate the luxury of heating and hot, running water.
