Let's tango in the rain

It was spitting with rain this morning so we were surprised that this outdoor milonga, part of a three-day tango festival, was still happening. Bit strange seeing people tangoing in jeans, anoraks, and Ugg boots. Extra: chivalrously protecting one's partner from the rain. I'd have liked to get some better photos, but the camera was getting wet, and the light wasn't exactly great anyway. We bumped into T, and the three of us repaired to a cafe for a coffee before parting ways as the rain grew more persistent.

The weather prompted us to light the fire for an afternoon indoors reading, writing and, in my case, starting a batch of marmalade. We'll be streaming a film this evening.
