Scene of the crime?

We were walking down the industrial estate between Next and B&Q when I noticed these footprints. They weren’t near B & Q so it wasn’t from there. It seemed a strange place for someone to leave footprints because there was no paint spillage. It was a lovely day today, cold and sunny.
