The first crocus

These crocus Tommasinianus have self set at the bottom of my garden over the past five years. They are the first to bloom and usually appear around the beginning of February so they are very early this year. Quite a heavy frost last night and a lovely sunny day. More frosts forecast over they next few nights so I have put fleece over some of my more tender plants.
