The 14 inch monster!

As you may know I landed the job of making a large celebration cake for an 80th celebration Dinner Dance . And here it is! All 14 inches of it. So glad I have managed to get that done. Now all I have to do is ice it! Another challenge for a non professional cake maker! But I do like a challenge.

Mr Tbay is a very excited boy as tomorrow he get his new car! Well second hand new car! I bet he does not sleep much tonight! 

I am a Shepherdess for a couple of days , which is rather nice. We have a young farmer who has her 16 in lamb ewes with us and I am in charge of them this weekend! I think I can cope! It will be rather nice to have some  lambs about again. It must be over 20 years since we last lambed here when we had 150 ewes at the time.  Even better that I wont be getting up all hours of the night and day to check them. 

Weather looking a bit better over the next few days. A few dry days will be rather nice.
