Golden Eagle

I was beating today and had the best start. Neil breeds eagles and he brought 7 year old golden Eagle Odin along. I’ve never been so close to one before - what an amazing creature! I even got to stroke him.

Totally buzzing - not something you do every day. Weirdly, I’d just finished a book about Sea Eagles so was very ‘in the zone’.

A few of us were invited round to a neighbours for a curry night - an excellent cook, she excelled herself with 6 different curries - what a grand day!
