Eating Ice Blocks....

.... no matter what the weather.

We had a massive rainstorm last night.  It went on for hours and was very noisy.

And today a lot of places are flooded including the M1.

We took the girls to the local shopping centre, just to pick up some craft things for them to do.

Getting there was okay, but coming home took a bit of a time.  They'd shut the motorway, so all the cars were trying to get onto the side roads.  I felt sorry for anyone trying to get to work!!

Despite all that, the rain is very welcome, especially for the animals.  Plus 46 bush fires have been put out by it.

Anyway, back at my house the girls had some lunch, and then we went to play some games.

Isabella and Alexandra were playing a memory game, and Mia and I did a jigsaw puzzle.

It's good at times to get a one on one time with each child.
