Into the Kanimbla

More rain and a little mist (as opposed to smoke or fog or smog) characterised the day. The temperatures remain cool (I am wearing a jumper). Quite pleasant really.

This is the first of many images, I shall post over the months to come, which suggests that the Blue Mountains ARE NOT a charred ruin. Here we are looking into the Kanimbla Valley from the lookout atop the Victoria Pass. I could do a 360 degree swivel from here. No recent fire damage would be visible. There ARE a few trees showing residual fire damage from about 20 years ago but you'd need to know what you were looking for.

A week or so ago I showed you a very brown/dead looking Blackheath Oval. The extra shows a completely SOOC capture of how it looked today and how much a few days of decent rain can improve matters.
