a clam drop

The tide was on the way out while sea gulls harvested clams on Cherry Point Beach. A clam in their beaks, they flew up above the beach where they dropped the clams onto the rocks. When the shells broke open, the sea gulls ate the clams.

And crows dropped clams.
Children peaked at crabs under rocks.
Dogs chased a ball.
Men and women strolled.
