Cardrona River Flats

I have noticed these bee hives in the River Flats by the Cardrona River.  The yellow plant is a weed, (I think), I have put up a close up as an extra.

My daughter headed back to Wellington this morning, it has been great having her to stay over the last 3 weeks.  I will miss her.

After lunch I went for a cool walk by the lake, was amazed at the amount of driftwood still around, and also some tracks still haven't been repaired.  It is very hot +29C.
