HYACINTH

As I stayed in all day yesterday I was determined to go out somewhere today.  We had rain this morning but this afternoon was dry so I took my chance.  I went to Newcastle.  Not for anything in particular- just to wander around the shops and see if anything caught my eye.  Still lots of SALES on but  the clothes racks were too packed and the sizes all mixed up so I got tired of trying to find anything I liked so I gave up.  Got some fruit in Waitrose - at least that was easy.

I TRIED to book flights to Boston tonight but the Aer Lingus site was " Playing Up.  So I will try again another time.  I'm travelling in April and will stay with my special blip friend justbe. She lives quite near to Boston .Becky and Mike are running in the Boston Marathon on the 20th so we hope to be spectators at the event.

For Flower Friday I took a photo of one of my hyacinth flowers. A couple of weeks ago I bought a pot of hyacinth bulbs in M & S and I now have 3 beautiful pink flowers.  The scent is wonderful.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.
