Hello to Eifion a new Singapore resident

Today we had a day of checking out the many shopping malls upon shopping malls in Singapore. Went to the top of an extremely high shopping mall on Orchard Street where what seemed like the longest escalator ever took us up to a roof garden (very scary escalator). We also went to Fort Canning an army base during the 2nd world war which has now been made into beautiful gardens. Eifion got in touch and told us we should go to Emerald Hill for dinner this street is famous because of some dude that planted a lot of Singaporean trees and greenery - maybe why it's called Emerald Hill?? So to top off our random days antics we met our family friend Eifion for dinner (who is currently settling in to working life here). Finished the evening off with drinks and throwing bar nut shells on the floor - something the Singaporeans do!
