Pothole or trench?

I thought I’d also make a start on Hand Lane, which definitely has potholes to avoid but also long stretches where the road edges have gone and which are stream beds when it rains.  In effect our lane has become single track so if anyone comes towards you at speed you either stop or risk having the walls of your tyres damaged.  I’ve still got to do my reports for this stretch of road.
