Anne Bronte's 200th Birthday

A visit to the Haworth Museum this morning as it is Anne Bronte's  200th birthday.  Her novels included Tenant of Agnes Grey 1947 and Wildfell Hall 1948.

Celebrations were taking place with refreshments to celebrate her birthday.  Did partake of a piece of cake although not the official birthday cake which was to be unveiled later in the afternoon.

Although the museum was not open to the public there was a display relating to Anne, and a  talk to take place in the school room.
