Le Petit Prince

This has been my favourite book ever since I first read it as a child. When I got my very own class for the first time, I read it with them, and bought them all a copy when I left the school at the end of my probationary year. Inside I wrote: "Finishing a good book is like leaving a good friend." I definitely feel that I could call this book a friend. It makes me smile; it makes me cry; it makes me feel safe...

A few years ago now, I decided to collect it in as many languages as I could and whilst I haven't got any new copies in a while, I do have a nice collection. My best find was a limited edition copy that I found at a market in Barcelona. It came from Mexico and had that lovely old book smell to it. Wonderful.
