The crater.
Today was a busy old day. I was due to travel to present a design to a client 90 miles north of here. They live in a beautiful contemporary house that overlooks the silvery Tay river. The garden is filled with rubble & broken down walls, which we hope to turn in a contemporary sleek courtyard. But it had started to snow quite heavily there, so driving up there would be tricky. Instead we used Skype to look at the drawings & models. My blip today was going to be a photo of my journey up there or the view from their house. But alas no, the weather conspired against me.
Instead I went to visit the garden we started building yesterday. It's only 10 minutes from home. Graeme & Dan were there, working away in the snow. They've cleared a lot of the grass and the old kitchen garden, and today they starting digging the hole for sinking the trampoline. A lot, lot, LOT of soil comes out of a hole that size. The lads are doing a great job digging it out & wheel-barrowing it away. A good way of keeping warm on a day that it didn't get above freezing.
