Eggs

The property surveyor arrived just after 8 this morning and C and myself were
ready for him with our ridiculously clean flat - not a thing out of place.
The chap spent 20 mins and commented only on the electric meter which he said was a bit old (agree) and that he will give this a 2 rating (agree) - so a 1 rating for all other interior things.
Very pleased about this. He then popped out to inspect the outside which in an older flat tends to get 2 ratings.

Ecodad kindly barter-delivered the 6 eggs and pot of jam which is great. C will love them. He also helpfully wrote the names of the chickens that laid the eggs so we can thank Ghost, Bella, Ruby and Doodle as we tuck into a yummy omelette.

C and me met up with our solicitor at lunchtime to get an update on the legal toing and froing between them and the sellers solicitors. We are interested in getting the valuation figure for our flat - although that probably will not be today.

Back home from work now and the tidy flat is great to walk into. Fajitas for tea which is kinda weird cos I that the same in the office canteen today.

C and me watched the first episode of Dexter which I enjoyed but C felt was a bit creepy.
